作伙來伴桌｜Street Banquet in Sync
The scene of big red round tables spread along the roadside with people sitting on plastic stools enjoying a lively outdoor banquet is a shared memory that every Taiwanese experienced living on this island. In the good old rural days, from weddings to funerals, campaign rallies, and religious festivals, there are countless reasons for roadside banquets to be held; nowadays these events can seldom be seen on the street, however, to take a trip down memory lane, we can still carry out these Taiwanese outdoor banquets.
As a 3 month event, "Street Banquet in Sync" held in Taichung’s Shen Ji New Village aimed to bring people closer in addition to savoring the traditional Taiwanese banquet cuisine.
For the marketing approaches, a campaign video showing different perspectives of people from all walks of life to arise the nostalgic emotions and invite people to join this banquet. The key visual for this campaign revolves around the shape of “circle" , through the illustration of a series of traditional banquet dishes such as lobsters, mud crabs, groupers, Buddha’s delight and etc., different combinations of ample circles not only mimic the big red round tables used in the event but also demonstrate the lively and reunited image of the traditional Taiwanese street banquets.
