茶 3.1415｜Tea 3.1415
2019臺灣文博會工藝館以「茶 3.1415」為題，期望透過茶文化的視角，引導觀者在不同場域中，思考臺灣工藝於當代日常的精神及價值，在不斷推演的時代變動中，發現工藝於生活中的文化路徑。
「以茶為圓心，工藝為半徑，畫生活為圓周，看見文化的面貌」，展覽主論述由此而生，展覽視覺設計則以此論述為核心，將「茶」字部首拆解成「艹人木」，以「人」為中心畫圓，連結茶字的「艹」與「木」——兩個四分之一圓排列而成的中心圖樣既是人也是茶，圖像留白處如代表土地的山脈，並透過圓中加入的線條，呈現時間的流動性。不同大小、底色的四分之一圓排列組合，在虛實間拼湊出在時間之中，人之於茶、工藝以及土地，發展出的茶文化樣貌。
The 2019 Creative Expo Taiwan’s craft technology pavilion themes around the Tea 3.1415. Through the perspective based from tea culture, we expect to lead audiences to comprehend the contemporary value and spirit of Taiwanese craftsmanship in our life; Through the change of time, discover the cultural path of daily crafts.
‘Centered from tea, radiated with craft, encompassed with life; we see the face of culture’, the subject of the exhibition starts from here. Ergo, focused on this statement, the visual design splits the Chinese character of ‘tea’ into ‘艹人木’ (grass, people, wood), and draws circles centered from the character ‘人’ (people), binding the other two parts of the character ‘艹, 木’ (grass, wood). The two quadrants arranged in the center stands for both people and tea, while the parts that are left blank represent the land and the mountains. Finally, the fine vectors in the circles imply the flow of time. With quadrants of different sizes and colors, the solid parts and the blank parts display the connection between people and tea, craft and land, thus piece together the shape of tea culture that is developed through time.
